Further London results

In Newham Sir Robin Wales has retained the Mayoralty, but none of the council results have been declared yet.

In Hackney the council website is down. BBC News is reporting a Labour hold.

Tower Hamlets continues to be close. Labour have won three of the six outstanding seats, including a gain from the Lib Dems, and so retain a majority of 1, despite BBC News claiming they've lost control.

The disputed ward of St. Katharine's & Wapping returned two Labour and one Conservative. "RESPECT" are threatening continued legal action over the fact that their failure to fill in their nomination papers properly led to their candidates not being accepted. No doubt they'll step up the legal challenge in the hope of achieving what the voters have not delivered.
