Thanks to Adele for highlighting this story. The Grauniad reports that Simon Hughes has caused a storm by that Menzies Campbell is underperforming. Once more we have the comedy of senior Liberal Democrats airing their dissatisfaction in public. It seems that there's more than one Groundhog Day.
If the Liberal Democrats are ever to regain any credibility, someone had better put Simon Hughes in his place. This can't have gone down well with the grumpy old men so do they have tomatoes at the ready?
