Help needed!

Does anyone know how to reset Windows XP and IE 7 to recognise Outlook Express 6 as the default mail program? At the moment no mail program is recognised and any click on a "mailto:" link just causes chaos.

All help and advice would be much appreciated.

1. Right click on the "Internet Explorer" icon on your desktop. (Or select the Tools menu in Internet Explorer itself.)

2. Select Properties from the pop-up (or drop-down) menu.

3. Select the "Programs" tab in the dialogue box.

4. Select "Outlook Express" from the drop-down selector marked "Email".

I've followed the instructions but currently OE isn't being offered as an option for Email, although it is for news.

I've found an option in the Options for OE to make it the default mail handler but it doesn't work - possibly because it's not listed on the Internet options.
