June on this blog

Once more it's the monthly look at who's been visiting this site in the past month, courtesy of tracksy.com. Earlier stats have previously been covered for February, March, April and May.

First off the sites most people come from:

  1. Blogger.com (-)
  2. Mars Hill (+2)
  3. Google (-1)
  4. The Vented Spleen (NEW)
  5. The Wonderful World of Lola (NEW)
  6. Jo Salmon (-)
  7. Take back the voice (+3)
  8. Iain Dale's Diary (-)
  9. Antonia Bance (+3)
  10. Cally's Kitchen (NEW)

Dropping out of the top ten altogether are Conservative Mind (at 11, down 4), The Little Red Book of New Labour Sleaze (at 28, down 19), Slugger O'Toole (which has disappeared from the listings altogether - well I was only linked to in specific posts) and Educationet (also disappeared completely - I haven't posted many links to here in posts there lately).

Keeping up the old tradition, for the second month running Jo and her partner Antonia have not swapped order.

Then we have the top ten search engine requests that brought people here:

  1. tim roll-pickering (-)
  2. what does your birthday say about you (-)
  3. bromley and chiselhurst election result (NEW)
  4. bromley and chiselhurst by-election (NEW)
  5. it's dd for me (NEW)
  6. sdlp parliamentary labour party whip (NEW)
  7. bromley and chiselhurst (NEW)
  8. sunday herald local income tax (NEW)
  9. whats is a hanging chad (NEW)
  10. rotterdam millwall loonies (-1)
Quite a bit of change from recent months. I suppose it's unsurprising that the recent by-election proved a popular search, especially due to my making a common spelling mistake. In conjunction the single most read post was What do UKIP offer the people of Bromley & Chislehurst?

There were few if any searches for "john ramsden don't mention the war", "london local elections tower hamlets tim archer", "hounslow conservative-control", "councillors, pickering, scandal" and "barking and dagenham politic."

Finally as ever we have a list of all the cities detected that people are in (although many are listed as "other"):

LONDON, LEEDS, BIRMINGHAM, CARDIFF, NEWPORT, OXFORD, YORK, BROOKLYN, NORTHAMPTON, DURHAM, SOUTHAMPTON, COVENTRY, FLORENCE, READING, MANCHESTER, NEW YORK, LUTON, SAN FRANCISCO, SHEFFIELD, DERBY, LIMERICK, DULLES, CHESTER, ANTWERP, CRAWLEY, TORONTO, OTTAWA, SINGAPORE, ROCKVILLE, EDINBURGH, CAMBRIDGE, BLACKBURN, COLCHESTER, LUXEMBOURG, BRUSSELS, ORLANDO, LIVERPOOL, WASHINGTON, CAPE TOWN, HARROW, PITTSBURGH, GLASGOW, WINNIPEG, HAVELOCK, MOUNTAIN VIEW, COLUMBIA, NOTTINGHAM, MALMö

(As ever this is not always perfect - for some reason readers at both the University of Manchester are listed as being in Coventry!)

Once more, thanks to everyone who's been reading and contributing to this blog!
